Non-Destructive Drilling and Sawing of Ferro-concrete Building Elements

1. Aim:

Drilling and sawing of ferro-concrete elements without any stroke or vibration to prevent any damage on ferro-concrete conveying system by properly using project changes in fast and intended dimensions.

2. Benefits:

Hydrolic concrete cutting systems:

It does not damage the conveying system; it is out of any stroke or vibration.

It is faster than the traditional methods.

It is worked with the dimensions proper to the modification.

Concrete cutting and drilling can be done in every vertical and horizontal environment.

It is operated with electrical energy and water. Furthermore there is no need for air pressure.

There is less dust and noise, working conditions are so comfortable.

There is an opportunity to cut big parts due to the crane and carriage conditions.

Concrete cutting can be done up to 60 cm and it can be drilled over 1 m with any intended diameter.

3. Application Varieties:

3.1. Drilling with the Core Machine:

Installation holes, shafts, various reservations are formed by drilling proper to intended dimensions (50 mm - 300 mm). Energy with 220 V and water are required for cutting.

3.2. Drilling with Hydrolic Core Machine:

Installation holes, shafts, various reservations are formed by drilling proper to intended dimensions (100 mm - 500 mm).  It is preferred in deep holes and in those areas with dense iron.

3.3. Cutting with Hydrolic Cutting Machine:

It is used in vast ferro-concrete elements, huge reservations, apron modifications and thick concrete cuttings. It can make a cutting with 60 cm. It is generally preferred because of its ability in cutting with a smooth surface. A help of a crane is required in casting heavy elements away. 380 V energy and water are required in cutting.

3.4. Cutting with Hydrolic Wire Saw:

It is used in cutting vast ferro-concrete elements, bridge pipers and mass concretes. Cutting can be done in every intended thickness. A help of a crane is required to cast the elements away.

4. The Subjects Which Should Be Noticed:

The reinforcement composition should be determined before the application, if the reinforcement are will be reduced with the cutting operation, a revised project should be prepared if necessary. As the quantity of reinforcement increases, the cutting of concrete becomes hard.

The application area should be protected with scaffolding and supporting.

A cutting and discharge plan should be prepared in vast cuttings.

Every security measures should be taken and non-stop energy and water requirement should be provided.
